World Book Day is coming

World Book Day is coming.  Today, every pupil received a £1 book token.  It can be redeemed for special, exclusive £1 books (or £1 off other books) at most major UK/Ireland retailers, including Asda (Strabane), Sainsbury’s (Strand Road), Waterstones (Foyleside) and The Works (Richmond Centre) as well as some independent booksellers.Tokens are valid from 16th February until late March. 

• Beginning Readers (Ages 3+): Peppa Pig: One Big Family (Penguin Random House), The Big Bang by Rose Ayling-Ellis & Katie Blackburn, Rita agus an tEachtrán by Máire Zepf (Ireland).
• Early Readers (Ages 6+): Unicorn Academy: My Secret Unicorn Diary (Nosy Crow), Funny FACTopia! by Christopher Lloyd & Kate Olesin, Pablo and Splash: The Castle Quest by Sheena Dempsey, Pia's Pet Club: Iguana Escape by Serena Patel.
• Fluent Readers (Ages 8+): Bear Rescue by Hannah Gold, Bunny vs Monkey: Total Chaos! by Jamie Smart, Skandar and the Secret Element by A.F. Steadman, Chaos at the Chocolate Factory by Sibéal Pounder, Unbelievable Football by Matt Oldfield, Milly McCarthy and the St Patrick's Day Pandemonium.
